Theme
The 2024 Rowan County Christmas Parade theme is Christmas Wishes. Join us in celebrating holiday dreams—dress up, share memories, and decorate with the magic of Christmas wishes!
Event Details
The Rowan County Christmas Parade will take place on December 6th, starting at 6:00PM. Rain date is December 13th. The parade, as usual, will head straight down East Main Street!
Parade Lineup
Parade floats and people participating in the parade will start lining up along West Main Street starting at 4:30 PM. We recommend getting there early to ensure efficiency.
Mix Mingle And Jingle
Join us after the Christmas Parade at 8:00 PM in Morehead City Park for Mix, Mingle, and Jingle! Kick off the evening with the magical tree lighting at 8:00 PM, then enjoy free cookies, hot chocolate, and photos with Santa Claus. Don’t miss Santa’s Free Raffle for a chance to win exciting holiday prizes! It’s an evening of warmth, cheer, and community spirit—perfect for celebrating the season together.
Best Float Contest
Get ready to showcase your creativity and holiday spirit! We’re hosting a “Best Float” contest during the Christmas Parade. Decorate your float in the most festive and creative way possible to stand a chance to win! The winners will be announced after the parade and gifted their prizes. Bring your A-game and let’s spread some holiday magic!
